The Fifth Tehran Annual Digital Art Exhibition Welcomed Artworks By International And Local Artists With "The Language Of The City" As Its Theme
TEHRAN, IRAN (Top40 Charts / Tehran Annual Digital Art Exhibition) Aiming to open new horizons for digital arts in Iran, TADAEX featured 16 artworks, seven audio-visual performances and four workshops by more than 30 local and international artists from countries such as Canada, Germany, Austria, Russia and the Netherlands as well as several expert talk

Themed for the first time, "The Language of the City" has guided the curation of this year's exhibition, exploring subjects such as urban soundscapes and the interaction between people, technology and the city. "Works are presented as site-specific installations, interactive installations and videos," said Ali Panahi, the technical manager of Tehran Annual Digital Art Exhibition.

In TADAEX2015, distinguished instructors from Iran, Germany and Austria taught specialized software programs and their applications in digital arts. "The workshops respond to a shortcoming in our educational program," said Amin Davaie, the executive manager of TADAEX, "They will provide artists with knowledge about software programs that are not taught anywhere else in the country."

This year, Amber Festival and TodaysArt joined the list of TADAEX's distinguished partners, which already included the likes of NODE- Forum for Digital Arts and Ars Electronica. "This addition creates more opportunities for collaboration and exchange between Iranian and international digital artists, audience and festival directors," said Davaie.

About TADAEX:
Founded in 2011, with the aim of opening new horizons for digital arts in Iran, Tehran Annual Digital Art Exhibition takes place every year around October in Tehran. For the past four years TADAEX has held four editions including exhibitions, performances, workshops and talks, organized by Amin Davaie as executive manager and Ehsan Rasoulof as director and owner of Mohsen Gallery.

TADAEX showcases the latest developments in digital arts by displaying the works of Iranian and international artists. The Goethe Institut, Austrian Cultural Forum, Embassy of the Republic of Germany, NODE, Ars Electronica, Amber Festival and TodaysArt are amongst TADAEX's partners.
