New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The Staves perform an NPR Tiny Desk (Home) Concert of four songs from their new album, Good Woman - "Nothing's Gonna Happen," "Good Woman," "Satisfied," and "Waiting on Me to Change" - from the kitchen of their childhood home in Watford, England, for NPR Music. Sisters Emily, Jessica, and Camilla Staveley-Taylor are joined by guitarist and horn player Marcus Hamblett for the performance, which you can watch below. NPR Music's Bob Boilen says: "This stripped-down performance is a beautiful way to experience these sisters' gorgeous harmonies through their songs of strength, loss, life, and womanhood."

Good Woman, The Staves' first album in six years, was written and recorded in a time of turmoil for the band - the end of relationships, the death of their beloved mother, and the birth of Emily's first child. Produced by John Congleton, the album stands as a testament to strength - of sisters, mothers, daughters - to love, loss, and change. To trying to be a good woman. You can hear a stripped-down version of the title track the band made with Hamblett and released last week.
