Cleveland, OH. (Top40 Charts) Warner Music distributed Tragic Hero Records, known for launching Metal, Post-Modern Hardcore, Screamo and even Pop-punk recording artists announced today the signing and release of "Whisper" by the band "Nights". The recording artist is virtually unknown in the USA despite having toured Japan twice in support of a Japanese release on 2670 Records. For their American debut, the Whisper record was remixed by Incubus Producer Jim Wirt. The record is officially available both on CD and in other digital formats with a vinyl version coming at the end of the year.
Nights is not the proto-typical Tragic Hero Records band but the label feels that the music world of young fans has become broader and more open minded. "You can't put young music fans tastes in a box anymore and assume that they only listen to or embrace one specific style of music" said Tragic Hero Records President Tommy LaCombe, "they are more sophisticated than that. They want and enjoy musical diversity more than ever before".
Today the band is focusing on a stream of the song "Glow" and expects to release a video for "Walkaway" (the opening track) in upcoming weeks. Nights is planning to tour America for the first time early next year.

About Nights:
Driven by expansive dynamics, infectious melodies, and shimmering soundscapes, NIGHTS winds through grooves of crashing rhythm and slicing, textural guitars. Ambient psychedelia juxtaposed with haunting, melancholic vocals spawns chilling performances reminiscent of early Smashing Pumpkins and My Bloody Valentine. NIGHTS enchants audiences by shifting from soothing dream-pop to aggressive rock.
Fronting Nights is visual artist Jenna Fournier, whose soft, ethereal vocals and sparkling guitar float in extreme contrast to the roar emanating from the band. Guitarist Frankie Maraldo combines the clever manipulation of billowing, swirling sound effects with a raw, histrionic performance. His sonic chaos is anchored by the precision of Chris Dalman's hammering drums intertwined with the band's bassist/synthesist Vincenzo Mauer's emotive playing. Mauer provides a saturated, lower end pulse and melodic counterpoint to Fournier's poignant and whimsical lyrics.
NIGHTS' debut Tragic Hero Records/Warner Music Group release Whisper was recorded by Jim Stewart and mixed by legendary producer, Jim Wirt (Incubus, Fiona Apple) at Crushtone Studios in Cleveland, Ohio. Their sound, not easily defined, captivates a wide spectrum of listeners, inviting you into dreams, desires, and a musical journey set to expand aural horizons.
