New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Trapt Official Website) California rockers Trapt have are enjoying a creative rebirth as their new album "Reborn" debuted at #44 on the Billboard Top 200 charts this week. The album was released independently through Epochal Artist Records/Capital Music Group and topped the iTunes Rock charts over Bad Religion, Hollywood Undead and Black Veil Brides. The album was released in a standard version as well as a deluxe edition which features five bonus acoustic songs including fan-favorite "Avelyn."
Trapt's new album "Reborn" was produced by Trapt vocalist Chris Taylor Brown and engineered by Matt Thorne known for his work with The Eels, The Donnas & Bonnie McKee. From the opening note of the first single "Bring It" to the album closer "You're No Angel," it is clear Trapt is back to pick up where previous hits such as "Headstrong," "Echo" and "Who's Going Home With You Tonight?" left off.
Trapt's new single "Bring It" continues to inch higher on the Active Rock Radio Charts and currently sits inside the top 20.
Trapt are currently on the road touring in support of their new album throughout February with their new line-up, which features drummer Dylan Howard (ex-Unwritten Law) and guitarist TravisMiguel (Atreyu).
