NASHVILLE, TN. (Top40 Charts) Madame Tussauds, the world-renowned wax attraction, opened its newest location at Opry Mills in Nashville today by hosting a celebrity grand opening event where country superstar Trisha Yearwood revealed her first, never-before-seen wax figure. Yearwood led a ribbon cutting ceremony with JP Dansereau, General Manager of Madame Tussauds Nashville, Gregg Goodman, President of The Mills/ A Simon Company and Laurel Bennett from the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp before welcoming event guests into the attraction for a sneak peek before the doors officially opened today.

Madame Tussauds Nashville will be the company's first offering in the U.S. that focuses solely on music icons that have shaped America's musical landscape. Guests are encouraged to have fun have fun with, take pictures, touch, and get up close and personal with nearly 50 famous stars from all genres of music. The immersive experience will allow guests to be transported to different musical scenes from history, design a concert t-shirt, record a song and much more.

The Grammy, CMA, ACM and Emmy Award winner's figure will be positioned at the front of the attraction in the admissions area and will be one of the first figures guests see as they enter.
