All proceeds going to hurricane relief !
In 2006, Tucker wrote the song following his visit to New Orleans and witnessing the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. The song was inspired by a story Tucker heard from a man in which he and his family were stuck on a roof in a raging torrent for days.

The man explained how his wife looked at him and finally said "I can't hold on any longer …please take care of the kids." She was then swept away by the unstoppable storm waters. The story was so riveting and heartbreaking that Tucker wrote the words to the song "Flood Waters Rising" that night.

Coincidentally, just weeks before Hurricane Harvey hit, the band was rerecording this song for their new album release. Naturally, the band all agreed the best way they could help during the current crisis was to donate their song and proceeds to the victims of these hurricane ravaged areas. Below are the lyrics to this song. Please join the band GMO in their efforts.

"Flood Waters Rising" Lyrics
Flood waters rising took my baby away
All I recall is the last thing she'd say
You take the kids now it's my time to go
Where I'll end only Heaven will know
I cried a tear for that love of mine
At that time I knew a part of me was dying
Flood waters rising now it's time to move
I can't forget that day and the love I'd lose
Chorus
Whoa whoa I've got nowhere to call my home
Whoa whoa flood waters rising…rising and rising
Whoa whoa I am just looking for something that's dry
Whoa whoa flood waters rising
