Tyler Young Releases Debut Single "My Time" Featuring Hayley May
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) "When dancefloors across the world do finally reopen, expect an eager new crop of talent to start rocking club decks and festival stages. Among them, look for LA-based newcomer Tyler Young. The emerging beatmaker has handed in his debut single, "My Time"…a carefree, grooving house cut that proudly wears its 'dance like nobody's watching' appeal on its sleeve. Packed with echoing vocal chops courtesy of UK singer/songwriter Hayley May, plucky piano work, and a funky, floor-primed bassline, the track encapsulates that euphoric club feel while also serving as a bold official introduction to Young's sound." - Dancing Astronaut

Today, March 5, Los Angeles-based house music producer and DJ Tyler Young makes his debut with new single "My Time." Groovy and filled with funky basslines, plucky strings, and shimmering synths, layered over hair-raising vocals from sought after U.K. vocalist Hayley May (Joel Corry's breakthrough single "Sorry," M-22's "How Does It Feel"), Tyler shines providing a taste of what's to come.

In 2006, Tyler Young was one of the fortunate kids to witness Daft Punk's spaceship touch down at Coachella. As he watched their performance, he became obsessed with electronic music. From there, Tyler would spend every free moment listening to dance music (with artists like Justice, Green Velvet, deadmau5 and Kaskade making the most impression), digging for underground and classic records alike on Beatport, and teaching himself how to DJ and produce. After attending a few years at SFU where he DJd house and underground parties throughout the Bay Area, he returned to Los Angeles to go full time in the studio creating "My Time" and many other productions to come.

Tyler Young is one of the new signings with the Los Angeles based label Thrive Music. At the forefront of dance and electronic music since 1998, Thrive has been home to many visionary artists with a wide sonic range, and releases from underground classics to multiple Grammy-nominated albums.
