UMPG Writers Scoop 20 2019 Brit Award Nominations
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Dua Lipa (Tap Publishing) led the field when the 2019 BRIT Award nominations were announced at the weekend with four nominations including two for Best British Single for 'One Kiss' and 'IDGAF'.

UMP had interest in seven of the 10 nominations for Best British Single including;
Anne-Marie - 2002 (Co-written by Steve Mac)
Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa - One Kiss
Clean Bandit ft Demi Lovato - Solo
Dua Lipa - IDGAF
Ramz - Barking
Sigala and Paloma Faith - Lullaby (Co-written by Jin Jin)
Tom Walker - Leave A Light On (Co-written by Steve Mac)
Florence & The Machine received two nominations for Best Album for 'High As Hope' and Best British Female Solo Artist, alongside Lily Allen.

Tom Walker is up for British Breakthrough Act whilst Years & Years are up for Best British Group.

Craig David received a nomination for British Male Solo Artist. Shawn Mendes and Eminem are nominated for International Male Solo Artist, whilst Ariana Grande is up for International female solo artist.

The BRIT Awards 2019 take place Wednesday 20 February at The O2 Arena, London.
