Vasa Stream Debut Album 'Colours' In Full
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Fresh from a run of EU headline tour dates, Glasgow instrumental post-rock quartet VASA are extremely proud to be streaming their debut album 'Colours' in full, following an exclusive premiere with The Independent last week. Released today via Black Sheep Records.

The band play a special release show at The Older Hairdressers in Glasgow tonight, 16th October 2015, with support from friends in A Sudden Burst Of Colour.

"We're incredibly happy to finally release 'Colours' and could not be more pleased with how it has turned out" comments bass player John Niblock "We're excited to let everyone hear it, it's our strongest body of work to date. The Europe tour we've just finished was fantastic - every gig was great fun and we were treated incredibly well. The reception we got every night was nothing short of humbling. We cannot wait to get back out to Europe as soon as possible. It was one of the best tours we have completed as a band, and we're very happy to be finally playing alongside the A Sudden Burst Of Colour guys on the final date of the tour tonight. They're a fantastic band who we are proud to ask to be a part of this show.

Already picking up comparisons to the mighty And So I Watch You From Afar, Adebisi Shank, Maybeshewill and Explosions In The Sky, this explosive and frantically inventive album goes one step further and turns sub-genre conventions and clichés on their head with a healthy injection of Celtic-influenced roots and a frenetic, dance-y infectious energy that's hard to refuse.

Since forming in October 2011, the quartet have seen a rush of support from the likes of The Independent, Clash Magazine, The Skinny, Goldflakepaint, PROG, The National Scot and huge swathes of the post-rock community give way to tour dates with post-rock heavyweights such as Black Peaks, Deafheaven, Maybeshewill, This Town Needs Guns and Brontide plus appearances at T in The Park and Wickerman Festival, with further live appearances scheduled and TBA.

'Colours' is out now via Black Sheep Records.
