Dateline: Los Angeles, California, June 26, 2012 -Autumn Electric is going on tour with Marius from Ten Faroe Islands (Denmark) this June/July, and they hope to offer an exciting and entertaining show. This is Marius' first tour of the US and will include some television appearances. Dates June 30- July 12th to LA and 13-17th back to Seattle. The group will be featured on the upcoming Compilation, "Indie Anthems". The compilation, which is produced by the WiFiPR Group to showcase new artists they have recently signed to their client roster, will come out as digital release only and be distributed at upcoming music festivals and industry events including Lallapalooza and CMJ.

Autumn Electric has committed to donating significant portions of their music sales to various charities, hoping to bring more purposeful healing and inspiration at their shows. The first charity they are helping is the Healing Center on Roosevelt, which provides free or inexpensive therapy for those going through the loss of a loved one. 1/2 of profits from upcoming "Make Me a Tree" will go to fund The Healing Center (Seattle WA) and Grief Place (Wenatchee WA). Both offer free and inexpensive therapy to people for those who have lost a loved one.

1/2 profit from "If You're Home" is going towards Seattle non-profit "Light Under the Bridge". "Light Under The Bridge" goes where most charities will not go under the freeways, bridges, and into the woods looking for the homeless that are not involved with the missions, shelters, and soup kitchens. These are the homeless that indeed feel forgotten, that is until they meet the volunteers from Light Under The Bridge.

And yet still another charity is PAWS, which is a champion for animals—rehabilitating injured and orphaned wildlife, sheltering and adopting homeless cats and dogs, and educating people to make a better world for animals and people. A regional organization PAWS focuses their work in Washington State and the Northwest. PAWS is a private, non-profit organization that relies on generous donations from individuals and corporations. 1/2 profit from "Very Soon the Light" are going to PAWS

When the group was asked what inspires their song writing they responded, "Creativity has been a light. Well, it's been nearly two years since I lost my oldest brother. I spent a lot of time since then with family members, sharing stories and hopes. I could hear their stories go through me day after day. After months of writing, I had a collection of songs. Everyone's story gets told together. Sometimes one of us would have a dream and everything would make sense. So I wrote down as much of it as I could and we made this music".

70's Genesis, Sufjan Stevens, REM, Flaming Lips, are mentioned when they identify who their musical influences were, and they are compared to Fleet Foxes, Bright Eyes, REM, Cat Stevens in terms of musical style, tone and feel.

Please make sure you visit them at one of their upcoming shows.
