Yola Performs From "Walk Through Fire" On "Billboard Live"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Yola performed a Billboard Live session of songs from her multiple Grammy-nominated album Walk Through Fire, answers fan questions, and shares a secret to overcoming adversity: Use what she calls "life scissors" to cut out the toxic so-and-sos "and funnel all that energy, much like pruning a rose, to the bud, which is your inspiration, your personal growth, your happiness, all the things that we're living for." You can watch the performance and interview here:

Yola released a deluxe digital edition of Walk Through Fire, which includes her cover of Elton John's classic "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" and a new song, "I Don't Wanna Lie," late last year. The album is available to download in the Top40-Charts.com Store, iTunes, and Amazon, and is streaming on Spotify and Apple Music.

Yola continues her tour in Washington, DC, Philadelphia, and Toronto this weekend. She performs at the MusiCares Person of the Year tribute to Aerosmith in Los Angeles over Grammy weekend, will make her Austin City Limits debut taping in early February, and has been added to the Bonnaroo Music Festival lineup in June.
