New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Robert Ashley has proven himself as a veteran in the music scene. His two and a half decade stint has seen him perform with the best of the best bands along the Northeast. The seasoned musician decided to go out on his own by releasing his solo project titled "Premiere. Farewell." The album is of an acoustic nature and the first track "The Drugs Didn't Last Forever" doesn't disappoint.

The track showcases his seasoned skills as he is able to blend his acoustic crafts to deliver a rather laid back tune. It makes for a pleasurable listening experience that will let you explore elements of folk and rock music genres. This acoustic gem is sure to draw you in as the lyrics of the song seem to well put together and the instrumentals on par with Ashley's performance. From the lyrics, we can tell that the person being described supposedly was suffering from drug addiction. He/she is finding it hard to kick his drug habits. All this is delivered in a melodic and groovy style that is sure to make this tune a favorite in no time.

"The Drugs Didn't Last Forever" by Robert Ashley sounds unique and original. You can tell that Robert Ashley's experience as a seasoned musician enabled him to combine different genres and styles to deliver his own unique masterpiece.

If this is a sample of his future works, I can't wait to listen as Robert Ashley doesn't disappoint in "The Drugs Didn't Last Forever".
