50 And Ciara Throw Down... Twitter Style!
NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ 50 Cent Fans Website) It's been long known that the world of hip hop doesn't always play nice with each other. From beefs like Nas and Jay-Z, to Eminem and Everlast. The world of hip hop never has a problem firing shots at each other. But thanks to twitter and the non-stop voice that everyone has these days, it looks like hip hop has taken their beefs to cross gender.

Just recently hip-hop mogul and platinum selling artist 50 Cent and platinum selling artist Ciara had a war of words via Twitter on January 28. It turns out that 50 decided to Tweet after spending an evening at Hugh Hefner's Playboy Mansion. His first tweet mentioned how he wanted to be a pimp and how he has 'strong pimpin qualities.' He then asked his Twitter followers if there were any 'hoe's' on Twitter that would be interested in working for him.

When Ciara caught wind of these inappropriate Tweets she decided to answer back 'the things people tweet say a lot about their character. Pay attention!' 50, always classy, referred to her as a 'b*tch' and then told her that he wouldn't get into a tweet war with her.

This is just shedding light on the ongoing issue of Twitter and how being constantly connected can cause a problem within the hip hop world. 50 Cent has never been one to shy away from a little controversy either. His songs, like many hip hop artists, have often objectified women. He's had public feuds with rappers like The Game and Ja Rule.

It's unlikely that his Twitter back and forth with Ciara will go anywhere as it's not common for a male rapper to attack a female rapper. Still, this could be the beginning of artists being put on notice for the things they say.
