55th Academy Of Country Music Awards Nomination Fast Facts
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) This year's leading nominees include Dan Smyers of Dan + Shay as well as Matthew Ramsey, Trevor Rosen and Brad Tursi of Old Dominion as each have a total of SIX ACM Awards nominations.

Maren Morris receives FIVE nominations including her first for Group of the Year for The Highwomen with Brandi Carlile, Natalie Hemby, and Amanda Shires.

Thomas Rhett receives FIVE nominations including his first for Entertainer of the Year.

Old Dominion receives FIVE nominations with an additional Song of the Year nomination for band members Matthew Ramsey, Trevor Rosen, and Brad Tursi.

Dan + Shay receives FOUR nominations, with Shay Mooney receiving an additional nomination for Song of the Year and Dan Smyers receiving two additional nominations for Song of the Year and Music Event of the Year.

First-time nominee Justin Bieber receives FOUR nominations for his collaboration with Dan + Shay "10,000 Hours."

Blake Shelton receives FOUR nominations.

Producer Dann Huff receives FIVE nominations - his most in a year since 2017.
Producer busbee receives TWO posthumous nominations for Album of the Year and Producer of the Year.

Women are represented in every Main Award category where they are eligible including Entertainer of the Year (Carrie Underwood) and Album of the Year (Maren Morris and Miranda Lambert).

The Highwomen are the first all-female group to be nominated for Group of the Year since Dixie Chicks in 2002.

Reigning New Male Artist of the Year Luke Combs is nominated for Male Artist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year - making him eligible to win the coveted Triple Crown if he wins both awards.

Country Music Hall of Famers Brooks & Dunn are nominated for Duo of the Year (they have won the category a record 16 times).

Fellow Hall of Famer Garth Brooks is nominated twice as both artist and producer for Music Event of the Year with Blake Shelton for "Dive Bar." With 22 wins in his career, this is one of the few categories Brooks has never claimed (he was last nominated in the category in 2001 for "Beer Run").

An ACM Year of Firsts as 25 artists and industry creators make their ACM Awards debut and another 14 are included in new categories for the first time.

Maren Morris received five nominations in four categories including Female Artist (Morris won New Female Vocalist of the Year in 2016). Morris is nominated as both artist and producer in the Album of the Year category for GIRL (she previously received two nominations in the category for HERO). She received a nomination in the Music Event of the Year category for Miranda Lambert's "Fooled Around and Fell in Love." She received her first nomination in the Group of the Year category for The Highwomen with Brandi Carlile, Natalie Hemby, and Amanda Shires.

Reigning Male Artist of the Year Thomas Rhett received five nominations including his first in the Entertainer of the Year category. He was nominated a fourth time for Male Artist of the Year. He was nominated as artist and producer for Album of the Year for Center Point Road. He also received his first nomination for Video of the Year for "Remember You Young."

Reigning Group of the Year Old Dominion received five nominations including their fifth for Group of the Year, and their first nominations in the categories of Single, Song, and Video of the Year for "One Man Band." Band members Matthew Ramsey, Trevor Rosen, and Brad Tursi received their first individual nominations as songwriters in the Song of the Year category.

Reigning Single, Song, and Duo of the Year Dan + Shay earned four nominations including their seventh for Duo of the Year. The pair received nominations for Song, Video, and Music Event of the Year for "10,000 Hours," with first-time nominee Justin Bieber. Shay Mooney received his first individual nomination as songwriter for Song of the Year. Dan Smyers received two individual nominations as songwriter for Song of the Year and producer for Music Event of the Year. Bieber's four nominations include Video, Music Event, and Song of the Year with an additional nomination as songwriter for "10,000 Hours."

Former ACM Awards host Blake Shelton earned four nominations including Single, Song, and Video of the Year for "God's Country," as well as Music Event of the Year with Garth Brooks for "Dive Bar."

Reigning New Female Artist of the Year Ashley McBryde received three nominations. She receives two nominations for Song of the Year "Girl Goin' Nowhere" (artist and songwriter), her first in the category. She also received her first nomination for Music Event of the Year for her contribution to Miranda Lambert's "Fooled Around and Fell in Love."

Eric Church received three nominations, including his second nod for Entertainer of the Year. Church was also nominated as artist and songwriter for Song of the Year for "Some of It" - marking his eighth and ninth nominations in the category.

Reigning Female Artist of the Year Kacey Musgraves earned three nominations including her seventh for Female Artist of the Year. Additionally, she received her first nomination for Single of the Year as artist and an additional nomination as producer for "Rainbow."

Reigning New Male Artist of the Year Luke Combs received three nominations including Male Artist of the Year and his first nomination for Entertainer of the Year. He also received his first nomination for Album of the Year for What You See Is What You Get. After winning New Male Artist at the 54th ACM Awards, and receiving nominations for Entertainer and Male Artist of the Year make him eligible to win the coveted Triple Crown.

Miranda Lambert received three nominations including Female Artist of the Year, which she has won nine times, more than any other female in the history of the ACM Awards. Lambert was also nominated for Album of the Year for Wildcard. Lambert has won the category each of her five times nominated including The Weight of These Wings (2016), Platinum (2014), Four the Record (2011), Revolution (2009), and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (2007). She also received a nomination for Music Event of the Year for the female-fueled "Fooled Around And Fell In Love" featuring Maren Morris, Ashley McBryde, Tenille Townes, Caylee Hammack, and Elle King.

Since winning New Male Artist of the Year in 2016, Jon Pardi has received four nominations - all for Album of the Year as artist and producer including 2016's California Sunrise and 2019's Heartache Medication.

Producer Dann Huff received five nominations - his most in a year since 2017 (he has 48 career nominations). His producer nominations include Album of the Year for Thomas Rhett's Center Point Road, Single of the Year for Lady Antebellum's "What If I Never Get Over You," Music Event of the Year for "What Happens In A Small Town" with Brantley Gilbert featuring Lindsay Ell, and Producer of the Year. Huff also received a nomination for Guitar Player of the Year.
Producer busbee received two posthumous nominations including Album of the Year for Maren Morris' GIRL, and Producer of the Year. He has five previous nominations including two in 2016 for Album of the Year (Morris' HERO and Keith Urban's Ripcord) and Single of the Year for Morris' breakthrough "My Church." He won Vocal Event of the Year as producer in 2017 for "The Fighter" with Urban and Carrie Underwood.
