A Piece Of Techno History: X-Mix Returns!

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ !K7 Store) For those who were there, the early 90s were an incredibly exciting time in dance music. We launched the X-Mix series to document the amazing things happening in the underground, and it enabled us to work with incredible artists (Laurent Garnier, Richie Hawtin, Kevin Saunderson, DJ Hell and many others), and, as the first officially licensed mix series, to share what was happening with the world at large.

This Fall we decided to unite the originators of the 90s with a new generation of artists doing incredible things in the underground. October saw the launch of the X-Mix Event Series with a Berlin party headlined by John Acquaviva, and the results were incredible. If you weren't able to make the first event in October, here's some footage of what you missed.



With another Berlin event on the way in November, we've dug into the archives for a limited stock of original X-Mix DVDs. Long unavailable, we're proud to offer the classic X-Mix 3 CD, mixed by Richie Hawtin & John Acquaviva for a special price of £7.99. Both the music and visuals capture a time and place when the music was fresh, and anything was possible.
