Beyonce & David Bowie Top Best Albums Of 2016 List!

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Beyonce has topped a list of the best albums released so far this year! The R&B superstar/singer surprised fans with her new studio effort 'Lemonade' in April.

In a new list compiled by Entertainment Weekly, the record has been ranked as the top album of 2016 so far. They wrote: "Mrs. Carter's incendiary cracked-marriage confessional proves that pop music can still hold the power of shock and awe."

At No2 on the list is David Bowie's 'Blackstar', which was released just days before his death in January.

Following at No 3 is 'A Moon Shaped Pool' by Radiohead, with Rihanna at No 4 with 'Anti'.

Rounding off the top five is School of Seven Bells' 'SVIIB'.
Other names in the top 25 include Kanye West, James Blake and Zayn.
