This CD dispalys Meyer Rossabi's dynamic fretwork, soulful vocals, and songwriting skills,.Blues Is The Color features nine original songs, two covers and a bonus live track "The Sky is Crying", recorded at Mexicali Live in New Jersey. Deeply inspired by Rossabi's love for the blues and jazz, his original tracks cover topics from career oriented women in (Modern Woman), the gangster life (Deadly Ties), changing careers (Stop Thinking), relationships gone wrong (Gone Too Far), how quickly our world changes (World Gone Crazy), having your back against a wall (Crash), and the hard rockin' " Hurricane." "... gives the listener a very "Joyful noise" and left me wanting more, more, more."
-Robert Decker, Great Northern Blues Society

Blues Is The Color features Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and Grammy Award winning drummer Marky Ramone on three tracks, "World Gone Crazy, " "The Sky Is Crying" and "Crash."

"When I was 18 years old I had the privilege to record an album with the great blues legend, Johnny Shines, under the name Marc Bell for Biograph Records in 1974. I was always into the Blues, Muddy Waters, B.B. King, Buddy Guy, and the modern blues masters like Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Johnny Winter and Stevie Ray Vaughn. Along with Jazz, Rock and Roll and Punk Rock, the Blues started in America and eventually spread throughout the world. Hearing Meyer Rossabi and others who have been influenced by the greats, I can say the Blues will never die. After all, there's a bit of Blues in all of us. I was happy to record these three songs for my longtime friend Meyer Rossabi." - Grammy Award Winner Marky Ramone
