Butterfly Ali Previews His New EP With The Soulful New Single 'Truth Is'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) With his previously shared singles 'Pray For 'Em' and 'Testimony' gathering huge support from the likes of American Songwriter, EARMILK, The Independent, WONDERLAND, WordPlay Magazine, RECORD OF THE DAY, Grit Daily, ATWOOD MAGAZINE, Spindle, YUCK MAGAZINE, The Hidden Hits and much more in recent months, fast-rising artist Butterfly Ali now continues the support for his eagerly-awaited debut EP 'Preacher's Kid' with the soulful new offering 'Truth Is'.

While his offerings to date have had a more lively and upbeat direction to them, 'Truth Is' offers a more humbled and solemn side to his sound. Channelling a more R&B-laden approach to his smooth and seductive direction, his newest gem looks to highlight his more heartfelt demeanour, creating a more diverse and textured intention throughout.

Speaking about the new song, he said, "Truth Is, is a song & music video that I wanted to create about the media, politics, & systemic racism. My thoughts on how we, as a people, are just expected to believe/digest any twisted information we may be given about any over publicized news heading. How the world we live in can promote such a false reality at times. I wanted to promote the consideration of where we should go from here. Within all the mess we've created as a country. I didn't want to shy away from heavy thoughts & concerns in this song, & wanted to open up more conversations through the vehicle of music. Extremely thankful to Aaron Kellim & Brian Kops for helping me create this narrative."
