NEW YORK (Crunk Incorporated) - On February 28, 2004, Serious Lord, founder of Crunk Incorporated was arrested in Orlando, Florida. He was charged with two counts of Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer and one count of Resisting Without Violence. This incident was caused when the Orlando
Police attempted to arrest Lord's artist Lil Scrappy. A situation ignited and Lord was taken into custody. Lord received a reduced sentence and time served. He has just ended a one year probationary term.
Serious is the former manager for BME's Lil Scrappy and Crime Mob. Serious secured a major distribution deal for Crime Mob with Warner Brothers Music. Crime Mob is signed to Warner through Crunk, under Reprise Records. Reprise distributes for such artists as: Madonna, Lil Scrappy, Green Day, and many others.
Lord released Crime Mob, the group's self entitled first album, August 3, 2004. They broke on to the music scene with a song called " Knuck If You Buck." Lord personally broke the record. He was very successful in breaking Scrappy's smash hit "Headbussa," as well.
Lord is commited to Crunk Music. He has secured the youngest Crunk group in Crime Mob with a five year deal, Crunk/Reprise. He has given Scrappy the necessary knowledge of the music industry to win with Violater Management Group. He has written for Scrappy, Crime Mob, and Lil Jon. Songs like F.I.L.A.(Foever I Love Atlanta), Rap is Like..., and Watch That (Never Die Alone w/ DMX ). F.I.L.A. received a RIAA Certified Gold Record (Lil Jon and The Kings of Crunk presents...Lil Scrappy and Trillville). He now has a single on the internet called Crunk (Cocaine). One can download a copy of the tune on many Internet sites.
"The Music Business is more digital now," says Lord. Serious is now focused on Moving The Vision for himself now. Serious Lord of Crunk is in the process of producing the tracks for his album, "The People's Republic of Crunk".
