NEW YORK (Reuters) -
Cypress Hill has hit a little snag in its upcoming Smoke Out Festival, which features Deftones, Busta Rhymes, Redman, and others.
The scheduled kick-off date on Sept. 29 at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, N.J., has been postponed until another location in the New York area can be found. The venue decided that the artists scheduled to appear were "unsuitable due to a number of musical events that occurred over the summer that resulted in less than desirable conduct of the attendees," according to a spokesperson for the tour.
In addition, the Hawaii show on Oct. 14 at Kuala Ranch has been rescheduled to Oct. 21. Tickets go on sale for this show on Saturday (Sept. 15).
The lineups, dates, and venues for the shows, so far, are:
Oct. 6, Devore, Calif., Glen Helen Blockbuster Pavilion: Cypress Hill, Deftones, Bust Rhymes, Redman, Method Man, Erick Sermon & Keith Murray, Suicidal Tendencies, Fear Factory, Afroman, Long Beach Dub Allstars, Kottonmouth Kings, NOFX, Armand Van Helden, DJ Sneak, DJ Swamp and DJ Z-Trip on 2x4 (i.e., each DJ will have two turntables and will be spinning at the same time), Richard Humpty Vission, and Liquid Todd.
