New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Dallas based hip-hop artist Terrence Spectacle is back (and clearly eager to show off his bold new chops and refined style) with his latest two part single A Letter From Belize. It's two sections, 'Tell Me Lies' and 'Best Guy' showcase a new, mature sound made vibrant with electronics and sonic-infused flair.
"With the release of my last project Traverse, I found myself being liberated by the idea of crossing over. Crossing over genres, industries, and time zones even. Life has had a way of making my journey of self-discovery a literal rollercoaster, and I fancy the idea of letting my music embody that same feeling. Recently discovering a connection to a grandfather (I didn't even know I had), and being able to digest this new heritage, inspired my new single (s) A Letter from Belize. Embracing my newfound Belizean ancestry, and drawing all the little parallels between what life has been and what I'm about to make it, has every fiber of my being inspired into manifesting exactly where I want my music to take me. 'Tell Me Lies', and 'Best Guy' [parts A & B of the single] represent my latest departure, and the first embarking into newfound musical territory."
Spectacle first stepped into the limelight with his debut EP, NuDallas in 2014. He's since shared the stage with the likes of Post Malone, Tory Lanez, Big Sean, The Internet, KYLE and Shwayze. Drawing comparisons to genre mainstays like Kanye West & Kid Cudi, Spectacle continues to experiment with sounds to cultivate a body of work that is a truly unique aural experience for the listener.
"He's running toward something, and now, he's finally bold enough to run with the torches." - Dallas Observer
