"To be bestowed with this great honor was the farthest thing from mind that night. I'm only a part of a whole collective of black men in the arts whose ingenious qualities have inspired me for many years. My goal is to complete my career acronym of 'E.G.O.T.' With sheer excitement I can announce that's I've finally earned my letter 'E'. Dr. Martin Luther King's legacy continues on because of this type of programming created by Curtis King. Thank you God for using both Mr. King & Vanzil Burke to create such an amazing opportunity for me." -B.SLADE
