New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Interscope Records) "FAR EAST MOVEMENT will be making a surprise appearance to perform their platinum selling hit " Rocketeer" on tonight's episode of ABC'S The Bachelorette. The episode will cover an exciting 1-on-1 date with the energetic and vivacious bachelorette Ashley Hebert. Far East Movement found mainstream success after building a following in the Downtown Los Angeles club scene. Their song, "Girls On The Dance Floor," co-written by Grammy-award winning singer/songwriter Bruno Mars, first hit No 1 in Los Angeles then spread across the country. This success led to their record deal with CherryTree/Interscope Records and release of their debut album, Free Wired,in October 2010. The album's official lead single, "Like A G6," instantly exploded on the charts, reached triple platinum status and made them the first Asian-American group with a No 1 song.
