Few Miles South Solidify Southern Roots With Brand New Album
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Backwoods southern grit and authentic country soul come together when Tori Lund and Blake English put pen to paper. The duo, better known as Few Miles South (FMS) present a sound that blends a multitude of genres on their sophomore studio project californ i aint. With unique storytelling, skillful instrumentation and just the right amount of twang, FMS is reviving country music's glory days.

Written, recorded and produced from the comfort of their Georgia home californ i aint, now available on iTunes, Spotify and all digital retailers, features 11 brand new tracks including the lead single Purple Skies.

"We're excited to finally put out this chunk of tunes and continue refining our sound from the first album," says English. "The response at shows has been really encouraging. We're especially thankful for the support of true country music fans who are looking for more than what's on the radio."

The release of the full-length album marks the beginning of another packed touring schedule for the band. With dates currently booked through November, the pair looks forward to sharing their brand new music all the way from Georgia to California and back.

Visit Few Miles South at their website for tour dates and follow along with the band on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

About Few Miles South: Tori Lund of Los Angeles and Blake English of South Georgia met playing at a church in L.A. where they bonded over a shared love of country music. Each with musical backgrounds — Lund a classically trained vocalist and musician, English a musician, producer and engineer — they began to write together, eventually realizing the songs they once hoped to shop would be best suited for themselves. Their new dreams took them across the nation deep into the woods of Georgia where they planted roots and got to work. Their debut single, On Down the Road was released to rave reviews and charted in the Top 40. The success resulted in the February 2018 release of their debut five-track EP, Might Could. It catapulted the band to new audiences and towns as they began a coast to coast tour, performing nearly every night for hundreds of shows. While this lifestyle is not for the faint of heart, FMS has embraced it. You can find them, dogs included, packed into their van soaking up every second of their never-ending road trip.
