Memphis has been an entertainment mecca since the beginning of the Hip Hop movement with artist such as Gangsta Boo, 8 Ball & MJG and Three 6 Mafia. The tradition has continued more recently with super producer Drumma Boy and rap phenomenon
Yo Gotti making a name for themselves on radio nationwide. Now a label has been created to identify and mold new artist from the streets of Memphis.
Fear None Entertainment has been created by Chris Hibler and Brandon Dandridge to serve as a platform for talented artist in the Memphis, Tennessee area. The first release from the label comes from the group Level Tenn who, after being featured on MTV's True Life about rapping battles, is slated by many to be the next big thing out of Memphis. BasSick and Royalty, the two members of Level Tenn have a combined 18 years grinding in the music industry. This year they were nominated for the Independent Artist and A&R Award in Tampa, Fl 2010. From local showcases on the radio to the regional award shows, Level Tenn is quickly becoming a household name throughout Tennessee. Most widely known for there street anthem Crank Walk, Level Tenn is preparing for their new release "Ugh Nasty" which is catching the ear of industry professionals across the country.
Don't believe that the buck stops here with Fear None Entertainment. Their list of talented artist include, Nina 9, Syco Delion, TreBay AuToTronics, Zoned Out, Grand Marquis, Spade Squad, N'aprize, Supa Mario, and Nukk (Da Truth) along with producers Trackaholics and Dot Com. Even beyond those that are signed there are a few artist like Ana Catalina who has been groomed under the Fear None Entertainment umbrella but has not signed because of obligations with the Hit Show American Idol.
The production team for the label titled P.N.P. (Productions & Promotions) is also making a name for themselves in the industry by working with and producing beats for established artist such as Novakaine, V-Slash, Project Pat, Uprise Records, and many more. In addition, they have produced and wrote several songs for Jessica RAY out of Memphis, TN who has recently appeared on 106 & Park twice this year.
This label is poised to continue the tradition that has been created for Memphis artist by continuing the hard work and dedication that is allowed them to make it thus far.
