Gia Yee Releases "Reggae Prescription" - Reggae Fusion Album
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Recorded and produced in the home of reggae, Gia Yee enlisted the talents of some of the top Jamaican musicians for her new album Reggae Prescription. The production included two Grammy Award winning individuals; producer Barry O'Hare, engineer for Shaggy, Sean Paul and Beres Hammond; and Courtney 'Bam' Diedrick, drummer for Grammy Award winner Damian 'Jr. Gong' Marley - son of the legendary Bob Marley. She produced the album as an indie artist under her company One Heart Entertainment, along side of her co-producers, Kirk 'Neil Keys' Gayle and Wayne Holness, who facilitated the project.

The album songs include conscious reggae tracks "GASLIT", "BOTH FEET", "ERASED", and "ANYTHING"; two renditions of a ska influenced song "NOTE TO SELF"; a funk infused 'Far East meets West Indies' cultural blending mix called "YO RASTA"; a Dancehall and EDM influence tune entitled "MY AVATAR"; a tropical vibes track called "ISLAND NIGHTS"; and the ballad of "RASTA JACK". Considering the artists' Jamaican roots, and childhood hometown of 'Motown' Detroit - it makes sense that her background may have shaped her smooth signature style.

Several of the album song tracks are already in rotation on radio stations and playlists abroad, as well as featured within several music publications in the US, Europe, Africa, and the Caribbean. "My aim is to connect globally in a meaningful way," says Gia, and continues, "Music is a powerful force, so I try to stay reverent to that fact and ultimately offer a positive message and vibe".

Extremely grateful for how everything fell into place, Gia Yee is excited and looking forward to a 2019 European Tour and future performances.

In the meantime you can find, stream and purchase her new songs and album on Spotify, iTunes and Apple Music, Amazon Music, CDBaby, YouTube, and on her website https://www.oneheartentertainment.com.
