New York, NY (Top40 Charts) UK RnB rising star JVCK JAMES today releases the brand new track 'OVERSEAS' via Vibeout/RCA. The track premiered via DJ Target's BBC 1Xtra show and is out now via all DSPs - https://smarturl.it/JVCKJAMESOverseas

The track, produced by Scribz Riley (H.E.R, Khalid, Cardi B), tells the story of a long-distance relationship and shows Jvck at his smooth best, playing with an RnB sound that he's becoming known for here and across the ocean. On the thinking behind the track he says;

"Overseas was inspired by a long-distance relationship. Last year I spent a lot of time travelling, touring and visiting cities around the world. During those times you get to meet so new many people and form new relationships, some that are still going strong today.
I thought that now was the perfect time to drop this song, especially during lockdown and the struggles everyone is having to go through. I know everyone can definitely relate to not being able to physically hold onto your loved ones right now, but I guess thanks to technology we can still keep those relationships alive."

"An unstoppable growing force." Complex
"The East Londoner is churning out butter-smooth tunes." - i-D
"A beautiful new sound." - Notion
"Stylish, exuberant, and unmistakable." - Clash

The end of last year saw JVCK's first ever live TV performance at the BET Soul Train Awards in Las Vegas, representing as the only UK artist to perform at the official pre-show event (watch here). This followed his last body of work, the EP 'Detour', which was led by single '4am'. Working alongside the likes of longtime collaborator Scribz Riley, Nosa Apollo, Maestro 'The Baker' (Lil Wayne, Yo Gotti) and Jordan Riley (Ray BLK, Zara Larsson) he crafted an EP that turned heads and showed him as one of key components in a burgeoning UK RnB landscape.

Following the release he headlined his biggest London show to date at a sold out Omeara, putting on his most accomplished performance to date. He then went on to play sold out dates across Europe including Holland, Germany, France and Scandinavia; as well as supporting both Ella Mai and Mahalia on both of their North American tours, gaining traction and strong support across the US and Canada.
