Jay Whiss Releases New Single "Valet" Featuring Puffy L'Z, Alongside Official Video Today

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Toronto rapper Jay Whiss (Prime Boys) has dropped his new single "Valet" featuring Puffy L'z today via Universal Music. Produced by Multi-Platinum producers Murda Beatz (Drake, Nicki Minaj, Quavo) and Cubeatz (Meek Mill, 21 Savage, Travis Scott), "Valet" is the first single from Jay Whiss's debut album due out early next year.

On the creation of "Valet", Jay Whiss notes, "It was a beat of Murda's I had been sitting on for about a year, I was just waiting for it to speak to me when I played it in the studio. I recorded the hook and realized it had the perfect bop for Puffy L'z sound. Me and him have a relationship beyond music so we just linked up at our boy Amir Jamm's studio."

"Valet" is the first new music from Jay Whiss since the release of his solo EP Dark Cloud, a collection of three deeply personal songs. A therapeutic project that channeled his pain, Dark Cloud featured some of Whiss's most powerful lyrics to date.
