Marrying Physics, Fantasy And Fun With 'Strings Of Time'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts / Agni Entertainment) Agni Entertainment's newest production, "Strings of Time" is set at the dawn of our universe - 13.7 billion years ago and it marries together physics, fun and fantasy - exploring science, the cosmos and the mystifying philosophy of string theory. "Strings of Time" is an artistic portrayal about the story of our universe and how it came to be, and it features Aerialist, Flamenco, Contemporary, Tai Chi and three types of Indian dance styles (Kathak, Bharatanatyam and Kalari), backed by a soundtrack of stringed instruments, with the title track composed by Rohan Joseph.

Agni Entertainment's Founder and CEO - Prakash Mohandas - amazed Austin with his last production 'Om Shanti' - which was also held at the Long Center in August 2013. His previous production boasted a grand set, 45 dancers, 20 actors, a 20 member orchestra and a large choir and crew - making it a 120 member performance that delighted the audience with an authentic Indian cultural experience, transporting them across the globe through live music, vibrant costumes, song, dance and imaginative sets.

In the latest production, various forms of dance and music merge to create the symphony of the universe featuring choreographers like Geeti Shirazi Mahajan-Ravaan Persian Dance Company; Divya Dinakar-Agni The Dance Company; Genevieve Guinn-Pink Flamenco; Preya Mangalat Patel-Devi School of Dance; Varsha Bankapure -Jawadekar and NrityaVarsha-NrityaVarsha Dance Academy; Annelize Machado-Maraa Dance Theater, and Tanya McCown-Four Elements Aerial & Creative Movement.

Strings of Time Director, Prakash Mohandas is very excited about this "beautiful, collaborative project. As a science geek and arts-lover, I saw an opportunity to bring the worlds of physics, fantasy and fun together through the creative art of dance," he adds. "But, don't expect answers to life, the universe and everything, or feel like you have to know about string theory to understand this collaboration. Come and get transported to a new land and have fun along the way."
