WASHINGTON, DC (By Erica Stone/ USO) - Hip-hop rappers Master P and Lil' Romeo and R&B vocalist Michael Warren will perform at a "Welcome Home" celebration for soldiers at Rose Barracks in Vilseck, Germany, March 29. Sponsored by the USO and the Installation Management Agency -- Europe's Morale Welfare and Recreation office, the event is for members of the 18th Corps Support Battalion and the 94th Engineer Combat Battalion returning from Iraq and will feature an awards presentation, games, carnival rides and a magic show.

Most recently seen as a celebrity dancer on ABC's popular "Dancing with the Stars," Master P is a legend in the music industry. Born Percy Miller, Master P was raised in New Orleans and built a hip-hop empire with his independent label No Limit. In addition to selling more than 75 million records, Master P is also an athlete who has played basketball with the Sacramento Kings and the semi-professional Las Vegas Rattlers.

The son of Master P, Lil' Romeo released his self-titled debut album in 2001. Almost immediately, his first single "My Baby" soared to the top of the Billboard charts. His most recent project, "Romeo!," collected music from his television series and was released last year.

Blending R&B, rock, pop and punk, Michael Warren has attracted legions of fans. His skills have allowed him to open up for several musical legends, including Gladys Knight, B.B. King, Robert Cray and Howie Day. Warren also has appeared with new artists 3LW, Bow-Wow and Genuwine.

This tour continues the USO/AFE tradition of bringing entertainment to troops stationed far from home. Several celebrities have made trips for the USO this year, including Gary Sinise, La Mafia, Montgomery Gentry, STAIND and MISS TEEN USA 2005.
