Platinum R&B Artist Adrian Marcel Releases Video For "I Gotchu (End Of The Day)"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Platinum R&B recording artist Adrian Marcel has released the video for "I Gotchu (End of the Day)", the first single from his upcoming EP release Marcel. The video premiered across BET.com, BET Music and BET Soul yesterday.

Produced by 2Tall and Hightone and written by Adrian Marcel, Sonny B and Ryn Nicole, the track keeps Adrian's signature sound with elements of both modern and classic r&b. The video was shot in LA by Mariano Valentino & The Vizulante Collective.

Showcasing Adrian and his starring lady simply enjoying each other's company in a pure way, the visual aims to remind viewers of the definition of true love before the social media age. "Real authentic love is something that cannot be quantified, it's about coming together as a union, and having your significant others back, no matter what," Adrian says. "When your heart and intentions are pure as a man, and your actions match, your lady will always feel secure and content. Everything else is just a bonus."

Under the tutelage and direction of his mentor, Grammy-winning R&B singer Raphael Saadiq, Marcel developed a following thanks to a steady string of projects in the mid-2010s, which featured musical assists from major acts like Destiny's Child alumna Kelly Rowland and rappers Wale and Too $hort. His debut mixtape, 2013's 7 Days Of WEAK, was released under Universal Republic Records, and featured production by the J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, Beatroc and more. The seven-song effort introduced fans to the open, emotionally-driven lyricist Marcel continues to be.

Shortly after, he notched his first platinum-selling single, "2 AM," (81 million + views on YouTube), a trap-influenced rhythmic banger with accompaniment by rapper Sage The Gemini, and found himself on Billboard's Rhythmic Songs chart for 10 weeks in 2015, thanks to his rap-sung single "Take Your Time." Adrian currently lives in Oakland, CA.
