New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The UK rapper known as 24Se7eN has released his latest single, "Eyes of a Child," under the European indie label, S2N Records. The single has been released with a corresponding official music video. Both have been published on the European based S2N (Second 2 None Records) music label. In addition to 24Se7eN, S2N records is affiliated with such artists as Alex Buchanan, Skout, Finesse Parlay, Stellanova and Dani-Vi, all of whom have seen much popular exposure in recent months. In addition to being the most recent showcase of 24Se7eN's skill and style, "Eyes of a Child" also features the talents of Alex Buchanan and the Voxalba Choir.
24Se7eN cites as main artistic influences a vast array of different artists. He surprisingly includes such unlikely names as Michael Jackson, The Beatles, Elton John, and Fleetwood Mac, as well as such legends of hip hop as Eminem, Nas, Dr. Dre, The Notorious B.I.G., Tupac Shakur, Madchild, Wu-Tang, Ill Bill and Talib Kweli. While it may be said that the former musicians inform 24Se7eN's studio polish and production aplomb, it is the latter who figure into the loud, proud and singular 24Se7eN sound.
Speaking of his musical roots, 24Se7eN writes, "The first time I really felt the music, I knew I wanted to be a part of it. It's a way to express real emotion through music and lyrics."
24Se7eN's "Eyes of a Child" is no mere rap song, however. Like much of his material, often written in a fast-paced format of urban poetry, the song has more meaningful intent than much of today's popular
hip-hop fare. Every 24Se7eN track is written with precision and intellect, delivered with a verbal agility that lends power to every verse and phrase.
Speaking of the themes in "Eyes of a Child," 24Se7eN writes that it challenges the listener: "to look at what's happening in the world. As much as we evolve, we are also killing ourselves and our planet."
His new track expresses the innocence of life-is-bliss through the "'Eyes Of A Child," also touching on some of the compelling mysteries and travesties of life as we know it.
24Se7eN has been performing since the 1990s. His live collaboration with Dani-Vi and Roser, "The Big Night," was triumphantly received in 2012 by a crowd of over 10,000 including radio, press and TV at Madrid's famous Gay Pride celebration. "Eyes of a Child" represents 24Se7eN's first solo
production. It was produced by Skout.
