New, York, NY (UA Marketing & Management) - Lately, it seems that the names Sean C. & LV are everywhere - from
Diddy shouting 'LV, Sean C.' a million times on his summer anthem 'Gettin Off' and
Fat Joe rapping 'LV' on the punch line of his latest 'We Gettin Money' to MTV recently declaring LV a 'Fire Starter' and Sean C. overseeing all A&R for Remy Ma's album. The production duo has recently worked themselves into a production frenzy with production requests from countless labels and artists. So if you haven't heard of Sean C. & LV (who comprise Grind Music) it's only a matter of time.
Teaming with long time friend, Bernard Smith of UA Marketing & Management (www.uamarketing-ny.com), Sean C. & LV plan to align with brands for relevant marketing synergies that will bring them added exposure and opportunities, including traditional and non-traditional marketing projects, events/appearances, bookings, ringtones, contests/promotions, outreach initiatives, press and more. Sean C. and LV are no strangers to working with brands. Sean C. has previously worked with Toyota Scion and LV has worked with Maxim Magazine, Request Jeans and others via UA Marketing & Management.
While Sean C. & LV are names that many of us are just becoming familiar with, they've been contributing to the industry for years in major ways. They've come a long way - from aspiring DJ's running the streets of Harlem and having the opportunity to produce Jay-Z's timeless classic 'Can't Knock the Hustle' to finally getting the credit they deserve. Aside from being sought after producers, they both hold other notable positions in hip-hop. Sean C. was a founding member of the X-ecutioner's and has since become a prominent A&R and Executive Producer on major projects for artists such as Big Pun, Xzibit, Dead Prez, Mobb Deep, X-ecutioner's, Remy Ma, Terror Squad and others. LV has been known for years as part of Terror Squad where he began his career as Big Pun's DJ and now serves as Fat Joe and Terror Squad's official DJ, and in-house beatmaker, performing with Fat Joe (and TS) globally.
2006 has been a successful year for the versatile production duo, as they've pumped out singles that have made there way into regular radio rotation, such as Remy Ma's 'Feel So Good' ft NE-YO, Ghostface's 'MOMMA' featuring Megan Rochelle, Fat Joe's 'We Gettin Money'…and 'Gettin Off,' the first track leaked from Diddy's forthcoming album, 'Press Play.'
Collectively, Sean C. & LV have recently blessed over a dozen projects that include 2006 releases and forthcoming releases by Ice Cube, Dre (of Cool & Dre), Diddy, Fat Joe, Notorious B.I.G. (Duets album), Ghostface, Remy Ma, Freeway, Memphis Bleek, Cheri Dennis, Pharoahe Monch and more.
Even more impressive, not only have they made their way onto over a dozen projects this year, but artists and labels are requesting that they produce multiple records on albums. Artists like Diddy have three records produced by Sean C. & LV on his forthcoming October release and Remy Ma's current project 'There's Something About Remy' also features three Sean C. & LV records.
Under their production company, Grind Music., Sean C. & LV also have their own artist, Aasim, who's preparing his debut album on Bad Boy Records with executive production, A&R and production by Sean C. & LV. 2006 has been a booming year for Sean C. & LV and 2007 looks to be even more promising for the Grind Music duo. So who the hell is Sean C. & LV? Sure that's no longer a question. Now you know!
