Slykat And C-Knight Team Up For "Groove Jet"

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Hip-Hop music innovator SlyKat has announced his new single "Groove Jet" featuring C-Knight (The Doveshack), and produced by Darryl "Funky Z" Fields, bassist in Smokey Robinson's "Human Nature" show at The Venetian, for 13 Music Ltd.

Hailing from the Miami hip-hop scene, SlyKat started his career with superstar hip-hop producers "Cool & Dre" has been a staple of the genre for a decade now. Originally breaking his lineup of hit singles via DSN Music, SlyKat has recorded with Chamillionaire, Lil Wayne, The Game, Pitbull, Rick Ross, Buju Banton, Bobby Valentino, and Inner Circle.

C-Knight is a member of the popular Long Beach group The Dove Shack, which also includes Bo-Roc and 2Scoops, which made their national debut with the song "This Is the Shack" on Warren G's album Regulate...G Funk Era. The single "Summertime in the LBC" also put C-Knight on the 'west coast" radar working with the likes of Snoop Dogg & The Dogg Pound as well.

Regarding SlyKat and C-Knight teaming up on the new single in Sin City, they have recently performed on stage at the House of Blues at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. "C-Knight and I have the utmost mutual respect for each other and we are both fans of each others music so it worked" said SlyKat. "Funky Z is one of the most talented musicians in Vegas and I fell in love with his production."
