LOS ANGELES (By Michael Grant/ www.smokinjoerossi.com) - Moondogs is considered by many to be Pittsburgh's top blues club as it has in the past host such legends as Koko Taylor, Keb Mo, Debbie Davies, and several others. It's owner Ron Esser is known for his part in the organization of Pittsburgh's annual blues fest held at Hartwood Acres.

WYEP, a local radio station had gotten flooded with requests to hear more of Smokin Joe's music after announcing his show and playing a song from his latest cd entitled "You Got The Blues" 2 weeks prior to the date in which Pittsburgh's own was scheduled to perform.
Those in attendance at Moondogs were amazed as Smokin Joe Rossi & The Southbound Xpress dazzled their ears with musical excellence and kept the crowd entertained with highly animated showmanship. "I have not seen a blues band perform that good in years" said Jack, who was among those in attendance.

Smokin Joe's upcoming performances are listed on his website at www.smokinjoerossi.com. Those interested in seeing him with The Southbound Xpress are encouraged to get their ticket and come aboard.
