Soulful Blues Veteran Arthur Adams Reflects On His 40+ Year Career For His New Album "Look What The Blues Has Done For Me"!
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Arthur Adams, the celebrated songwriter, singer and prince of the blues guitar, who has collaborated with such seminal icons as B.B. King, Bonnie Raitt, Keb' Mo', Dr. John, Grateful Dead's Jerry Garcia, and many others, proudly presents his brand new studio album. His first new release since 2009's Stomp The Floor, Look What The Blues Has Done For Me is Adams' debut with Cleopatra Blues, the LA-based imprint that also includes the Grammy nominated bluesman Kenny Neal alongside James Montgomery, Leo Bud Welch, Reverend KM Williams and more. With this new album, Adams proves that the blues only gets better with age as Adams and his band bring the goods on 13 new compositions including the standout tracks "Helpin' Hand Man," the gospel-tinged "If You Let Me Love You" and the phenomenal title track!

Adams says, "My goal on this CD was to record the best blues songs I could write and be sure that I feature my guitar and vocals. I did not want a big production, as I listen to some of the older blues artists, such as B.B. King, Chuck Berry, Jimmy Reed, Elmore James and others, many times they only had a four or five-piece band. That's what I'm aiming for, on Look What The Blues Has Done For Me. My style, my sound."

To celebrate the career of this extraordinary blues troubadour, the new album includes a full-length bonus disc of tracks from Adams' '70s LPs, none of which have ever been made available on CD! PLUS the jazz-funk dance single "You Got The Floor," which went to #1 on the UK Disco Chart in 1981!

Catch Adams performing at the KJAZZ Hollywood Blues Bash in the historic Ford Theatre on September 9! Purchase tickets here: https://www.fordtheatres.org/calendar/hollywood-blues-bash-featuring-booker-ts-stax-revue
