New York, NY (Top40 Charts) From Executive Producer Sean Astin and Director Jeremy Snead, this new eight-part documentary series follows eight celebrity correspondents as they dive into the world of video games. The series is currently available to pre-order and will be available for purchase on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, and Steam beginning December 15th.

Each episode bounces around three different host's journeys, beginning with Sean Astin's exploration of game design schools and the world of video game journalism. Tom Arnold journeys into the past, present, and future of games. Matt Walsh covers non-traditional areas by meeting with doctors and field experts to understand the psychology of gaming. Penn Jillette seeks to understand the world of modern game development. Michael Rooker looks into the fascinating technology used in performance capture. Zelda Williams investigates how hospitals use games as therapy and rehabilitation. Alison Haislip goes behind the scenes at Nintendo and other companies at E3. And finally, Meghan "Strawburry17" Camarena explores the global explosion of competitive video gaming, better known as esports.

Also featured in the series are cultural figures like William Shatner, Tony Hawk, Kevin Smith, and Jason Mewes as well as a litany of video game industry icons like Nolan Bushnell and Shigeru Miyamoto. Interviews also feature field experts, doctors, scientists, game designers, authors, and many more.

Fans can pre-order the entire 8-part series now at unlockedtvshow.com.
"Jeremy's determination and ability to explain the world of gaming through the documentary medium in such a thorough yet entertaining way is pretty incredible," said Executive Producer Sean Astin.

"The goal in producing a series like Unlocked is to educate and entertain the audience on all these fascinating topics within the world of gaming all with a cast of curious correspondents that the audience is familiar with," said Jeremy Snead.

"Intellectually stimulating and way more interesting than I expected. Fun, and I learned a lot," said host Tom Arnold of his journey into gaming in Unlocked.

"I now have a true appreciation for the art, business and downright hard work of game development," said host Penn Jillette about his experience throughout filming Unlocked.
