Starset Premieres New Music Video For "Carnivore" Exclusively On Faze Spratt's Youtube Channel
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Alternative rockers Starset will release their debut album Transmissions on vinyl on July 10th - available for preorder now at Merchnow. The vinyl release is just in time to celebrate the one year anniversary of the album's initial release.

Starset's vinyl release of Transmissions allows fans to experience the album in a completely new dimension. With expanded artwork that includes their graphic novel and a vinyl etching, it offers a glimpse into the technical and creative mind of lead singer, writer and scientist, Dustin Bates. A singer, songwriter and accomplished musician, Bates also boasts serious scientific credentials - as A PhD candidate in electrical engineering from Ohio University, he has done research for the U.S. Air Force and taught at the International Space University.

Starset continues to unravel the saga behind Transmissions with their visuals including their videos which explore the movement to save humanity from an inevitable downfall caused by the misuse of technology.

The atmospheric melodies and cryptic lyrics set Starset apart from other bands in their genre. The powerful, yet eerie messages weaved throughout the album echo the story line of an epic science fiction movie. The band's cinematic sound entered the rock world like a meteor in 2014. It debuted at #50 on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart marking one of the highest chart debuts from a new rock band in 2014. Starset's first single "My Demons" made radio history last year by being on the Billboard charts for a record-setting 43 weeks, peaking at #3 on Mainstream Rock Radio. This marked the longest chart run of the year at the format and the longest chart climb to the Top 5 at Mainstream Rock Radio for any artist since the launch of the chart in 1981. The album has been described as "an artfully crafted and expertly woven narrative of epic proportions blasting off on energetic guitars, entrancing electronics, and booming percussion" (Artist Direct) and has been selected by a number of media outlets as one of the best rock albums of 2014.

Starset toured throughout 2014 and spent the first half of 2015 touring with In This Moment in Europe and Halestorm, The Pretty Reckless, and 10 years in the United States, also hitting all the major festivals. Starting July 14th the band will be playing select shows with Breaking Benjamin (tour dates below) with additional touring in North America and abroad later this year.
