New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Jada Official Website/ Universal Motown) - Pop R&B supergroup Jada's highly anticipated new single, 'Break Up Song,' is being released today.

The second song from the female foursome's debut Universal Motown CD is now available on iTunes and comes on the heels of the tremendous response to their first single, 'American Cowboy.'

Since its release earlier this year, the 'American Cowboy' video has had almost a million combined hits on the Internet. The song, produced by Akon/RedOne, also was featured on the hit TV show 'House.'

'We're really excited about the new single,' said Jada manager Laura Poulin. 'And we're blown away by the attention we've gotten with 'American Cowboy.''

The vocal group, composed of Jacyn Tremblay, Lauren O'Keefe, Elle Wine and April Forrest, is known for its powerhouse vocals, sophisticated harmonies and Gospel-tinged ballads.

"Break Up Song" was written and produced by Andrew Frampton, Wayne Wilkins and Savan Koetcha, best known for their work with Natasha Bedingfield and Britney Spears.

'It's really pretty and mid-tempo,' said Tremblay. 'The title sounds like a sad love song, but once you hear it, you'll realize it's not what you expect.'

'The success of 'American Cowboy' is just one more exciting thing that's happened to us this year,' said Poulin. 'And now, with the early buzz on 'Break Up Song,' things keep getting better for the girls, which is good, because they work very hard at what they do.'

Jada is in the middle of a nationwide promotional tour. The group will appear at the Eldorado Hotel & Casino in Reno, Nev., on Oct. 6. They also will be featured guests this week on radio stations KDND in Sacramento, Calif., KSXY in Santa Rosa, Calif., KHOP in Modesto, Calif., and KWYL and KWNZ in Reno, Nev.

The group has performed at major venues such as Madison Square Garden, Boston's TD BankNorth Garden and the New England Patriots' Gillette Stadium.

Jada currently is preparing to shoot a video for 'Break Up Song.'
