Veteran Texas Bluesman/Songwriter Releases His New CD "Hempstead Highway"

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) With lyrics such as "I wish I had a shotgun I'd blow you straight to hell" I think we could all agree this release ain't no love album. This is a blues album baby complete with life's warts and all.
Steve's well known for his prolific song writing and to think that he assembled an ace of a blues crew to record with and then teamed with Rock Romano, the famed record producer at Red Shack Recording Studios, "Hempstead Highway" is nothing short of being right in there.
On the title track Steve sings, "I'm a-rollin' down the Hempstead Highway, it's the only thing that I wanna do, if I keep on a-rollin', I just might forget about you". Yep I would say this is a blues release, you can feel the sincerity of the lyrics on "Hempstead Highway". Cool.

In fact Steve had read where Joe commented that T-Bone Walker, Johnny "Guitar" Watson, and Gatemouth Brown were among Joe's biggest influences and since "Hempstead Highway" reflects the greater Houston blues corridor Steve includes that sphere of influence in the song.
