AaronJoe Releases New Single "Goodbye Sweet Yesterday"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The Nigerian singer-songwriter and renowned speaker known as AaronJoe has released his newest single, called, "Goodbye Sweet Yesterday." The song involves elements of traditional acoustic pop music, reggae music, and Afro-roots music. Its chorus is entirely uplifting, optimistic, and inviting to join in with as a listener. Truly, it is difficult to keep from singing along with AaronJoe even on a first-time listen through. He is an extremely interactive performer, and every one of his lyrics is penned with the most careful forethought and heartfelt motives and philosophies.

While the song is definitely a work of musical art, AaronJoe (who is also sometimes referred to as the Voice of Reason) has very openly emphasized that while the song may be catchy, nice to hear and to sing, the music is not the important thing. When asked about his musical history, and how it is that he came to write and perform music, AaronJoe has a very direct and clear response.

"I was called by God to be an example to the next generation," he says, plainly. The single, "Goodbye Sweet Yesterday" is, in fact, the title track to the LP of the same name. The entire record is AaronJoe's message to the world - though he is likely to insist that his message is not his, but His, in the ecclesiastical sense. He explains this in the following way:

"Goodbye Sweet Yesterday is a record that is intended to bring you to terms with the fact that yesterday is gone with all that it came with, and that today is a new opportunity made possible by love, for you to do it all over again, [this time] knowing you are not doing it for yourself, but for the next generation that trusts and looks up to you to do the right thing, and to create the right path for them to follow."

Among his main influences, AaronJoe lists the following artists in no particular order: Bob Marley, UB40, Uberon Aroy, Louis Armstrong, Rascal Flatts, and Busta Rhymes.

AaronJoe's single, "Goodbye Sweet Yesterday," is available online everywhere beginning 8 March, 2013.

The single "Goodbye Sweet Yesterday" is distributed globally by MondoTunes (www.MondoTunes.com) and is available at iTunes or www.top40-charts.com for convenient purchase and download.
