Allman Brown Captures Striking Sense Of Isolation With "Lonely Hearts, Los Angeles"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) UK singer/songwriter Allman Brown will release his anticipated sophomore album Darling, It'll Be Alright this spring. Out on May 10th, it features an exciting evolution for the London-via-Hong Kong artist who expands upon his sonic palette while continuing to maintain his raw sensibility and aching melodic mastery. Today he shared his new song "Lonely Hearts, Los Angeles," a gripping track where he uses his ongoing battle with tinnitus to capture a strikingly relatable sense of isolation.
"The song is an attempt to marry my experience in this hotel alone with this mythic idea of LA, the romance, the glamour of the film business - which is simultaneously glorious and beautiful and also quite sad," Allman told PopDust who featured the track. "You need a lot of resilience there; 90 percent of the entertainment is rejection."

He continued, "[Tinnitus] is happening in my life all the time, so it found its way into this particular song. Especially at night, when everything's quiet, it can be very loud and all-encompassing. But after a while, you adapt to it. It's quite interesting, actually: people hear different things, and it spikes at different times."

Darling, It'll Be Alright follows Allman's 2017 acclaimed debut 1000 Years which featured contributions from artists such as Liz Lawrence, Robyn Sherwell, and Lowell. It earned him a big following on Spotify garnering over 83 million streams and more than 1.3 million monthly listeners. Indie Shuffle claimed "Allman Brown possesses the kind of vocal prowess that transitions effortlessly from gently rasping to raw and powerful," while Clash Magazine stated "There's a sensitivity to Allman Brown's work that feels all too rare." Allman's music has been featured in numberous hit TV shows including Parenthood, The Good Doctor Criminal Minds, Suits, Beauty and the Beast, Reign, and Finding Carter.
Lead single "Shapes In The Sun" is also out now, which Glide Magazine raved "showcases Brown's ability to craft sweeping, powerful pop music."
Catch Allman on tour in the US this spring, kicking off in Nashville on May 2 followed by performances in Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Chicago, Denver, and Los Angeles among others. For more info or to purchase tickets, visit www.allmanbrown.com/#tour
