Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ North Hudson Music) He is 19, hails from Riverside, California, and he goes by the name "Audiobot." The young DJ, remixer, and producer is a co-writer and co-producer of the Billboard Hot 100 #1 hit song, "Sexy and I Know It." Audiobot has also contributed to additional tracks by the mega-hit makers
LMFAO and is now collaborating with
Black Eyed Peas front man, Will.i.am.
After Audiobot (born Kenneth Oliver) graduated from high school, he worked a job to make money to buy a computer for recording and mixing electronic music. "I made a 'Party Rock Anthem' remix in February 2011 before the song blew up," he explains. "I sent it to one of my DJ friends, he sent it to
LMFAO through Facebook and Red Foo from the group heard it. My friend had left my contact info, so Red Foo communicated saying, 'Hey, I want to meet you.' I went to his house and from then on, I've been working with him on the album, and it was through him I got introduced to Will.i.am."
Audiobot is credited as a producer and a songwriter with the
Black Eyed Peas front man on the first single "T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever)," featuring guests
Jennifer Lopez and
Mick Jagger from the forthcoming #willpower. "Will knows what he wants," says Audiobot of his famous collaborator.
As an in-demand DJ, Audiobot has been igniting dance floors across the country, spending New Year's Eve playing to a packed floor as a featured artist at The
Modern Honolulu Hotel in Waikiki. "I test out a track by playing it in a club, listening to the mix, and watching the reaction of the crowd. From there, I know what to change or what to add."
Given his rapid ascent into the upper stratosphere of modern music makers and the variety of his multi-projects, Audiobot knew he needed a top notch entertainment lawyer and sought out the legal counsel of Los Angeles entertainment attorney Helen Yu. Helen has been negotiating deals and steering navigation on the profusion of opportunities that Audiobot is being offered.
Helen Yu on Audiobot, "Sometimes the stars align. Audiobot knew music was his path at a young age. It's my job to help build a bridge in turning his creative endeavors into a real business and music career for him."
Audiobot came out of nowhere, his sound is everywhere, and his ambitions are clearly defined: "I want to make music for everybody, to DJ around the world, and to be on the charts," says Audiobot. "That's my goal."
