New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - Brian Setzer's version of "Jingle Bell Rock" on ''Christmas Comes Alive!' out now on Surfdog Records, is a swinging rockabilly rendition recorded live during the Brian Setzer Orchestra's 2009 Christmas Extravaganza Tour. The popular Christmas song, first recorded by Bobby Helms in 1957, has been featured in the films 'Lethal Weapon' and 'Mean Girls' and covered by artists as divergent as Brenda Lee, Hall and Oates, Arcade Fire, Lou Rawls, The Fall, Ashanti, The Ventures and The Chipmunks.

Setzer's "Jingle Bell Rock," with the help of his fire-breathing Gretsch guitar, killer 18-piece big band, and chorus of pin-up cuties, may well be the most explosive of them all.
