Fizzy Blood Announce The Virginmarys Support Slots (Sold Out)
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Leeds' latest rock hot property Fizzy Blood are pleased to announce they will support Macclesfield trio The Virginmarys on two SOLD OUT dates in Manchester and London next week.

The new dates come shortly before a string of UK co-headline dates with friends and fellow Yorkshiremen Allusondrugs in June and a brace of festival appearances including Liverpool Sound City, Camden Rocks, Long Division Festival and more TBA.

Commenting on the news, drummer Jake Greenway says "We can't wait for these shows. A few of us have been following The Virginmarys for ages - even before we were a band - so to be playing two sold out shows with them is really exciting!"

Together only two short years and with just one EP under their belts, Fizzy Blood were almost immediately invited to play Download Festival and subsequently personally invited to tour with legendary punk outfit The Dead Kennedys after the release of just one single. Further tour dates with Press To Meco, Freeze The Atlantic, Attention Thieves and more followed, before the band retreated back to their hometown of Leeds late last year to reflect on how best to capitalize on their stellar start.

Marking themselves out as one of the most promising young Northern bands on the UK rock scene right now, theyve already scored glowing praise from the likes of Kerrang! Magazine, Rock Sound, The Skinny, Big Cheese, Artrocker, Clash, Discovered Magazine, BBC Radio 1, Radio X, Scuzz TV and many more for their trashy, desert-rock-influenced anthems.

The band have just come off a run of dates alongside Max Raptor following a UK tour supporting The Hyena Kill, a trip to Korea for Zandari Fest, a much-lauded jaunt to this years South By South West in Austin, Texas and a triumphant homecoming show at Live at Leeds Festival.

Tickets for all dates are on sale now at www.fizzyblood.com
