Iconic Rock Trio ZZ Top Returns To Luther Burbank Center For The Arts
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Following a sold-out performance in 2015, Luther Burbank Center for the Arts (LBC) announced today iconic Texas rock trio ZZ Top will return to Santa Rosa on Tuesday, January 22, 2018 at 8 p.m. Tickets range in price from $79-$119 and are available for purchase beginning Friday, November 2 at 12 p.m. online at lutherburbankcenter.org, by calling 707-546-3600 or at the Luther Burbank Center for the Arts ticket office (50 Mark West Springs Road in Santa Rosa. ZZ Top plays red-hot Texas boogie and blues, and no one does it better-or has done it longer-than this "little ol' band from Texas." The trio's enduring appeal can be attributed to their mastery of and feel for rootsy forms. Guitarist Billy Gibbons, bassist Dusty Hill, and drummer Frank Beard were influenced by such blues masters as Freddie King, Lightnin' Hopkins, Muddy Waters, and John Lee Hooker. From the beginning they took a hard-rocking power-trio approach to the blues, cultivating a new audience for it in the '70s and '80s with superior musicianship as well as attitude, style and some devilishly funny songs. They have sold millions of records over the course of their career, have been officially designated as Heroes of The State of Texas, have been referenced in countless cartoons and sitcoms and are true rock icons.

ZZ Top will perform their legendary hits at LBC, including "La Grange," "Gimme All Your Lovin'," "Sharp Dressed Man," and "Legs." Since their founding in 1969, they have performed before millions of fans throughout North America on numerous epochal tours, as well as overseas where they've enthralled audiences from Slovenia to Italy, from Australia to Sweden, from Russia to Japan and most points in between. Their iconography-beards, cars, girls, and that magic keychain-seems to transcend all bounds of geography and language.
