New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Fresh off the heels of her breakthrough hit single and viral music video, "Chuck Norris," nationally televised and internationally recognized singer/songwriter Laura Michelle releases her music video "Chameleon," which is also her new single.

Co-written by Laura Michelle, Jim McGorman, and Eugene Huang, "Chameleon" is based on a chapter from Laura's life. It's a true story of initially experiencing a romantic interest and his outward appearance and behavior as desirable, but later realizing it was all a pretense as his façade comes crumbling down.

The video production required five days of filming and contains varied special effects by master Visual FX Artist, Joe Gunn, including seeing a double of Laura Michelle. This required her to be locked in a 24 ft by 24 ft green screen room for 16 hours. While challenging, it was "an exhilarating experience to see it all come to life," Laura expressed.

OK! Magazine premiered the "Chameleon" music video on Friday, October 14 as a "must see" and recently dubbed "Chuck Norris" as "the hit single of the summer." The "Chuck Norris" music video (with a special guest appearance by the legendary Chuck Norris) skyrocketed to almost 13 million views in its first three months, while trending #1 in Canada, France, Italy, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, and other countries.

In the U.S, from LA to New York, from Miami to Boston, Laura Michelle has caught the attention of the press with rave reviews. She has performed at Hollywood's hottest clubs and LA's landmark venues, and was recently featured in New York City's Times Square for her viral music video. Her new album, Novel With No End, (Sony Red) weaves a unique sound and style through its 13 tracks. With open and honest lyrics it offers an introspective and adventurous journey through Laura Michelle's life experiences of love, loss, and life lessons thus far. Novel With No End was produced by an all-star lineup: Executive Producer and two-time Grammy Winner Jarrett Zellea (Howie Day, Luther Vandross, Santana), Jim McGorman (Avril Lavigne, Shakira, Miley Cyrus), and was engineered and mixed by multi-Grammy winner Rafa Sardina. Novel With No End is available at digital retailers everywhere. Hear it here: https://soundcloud.com/musicconsultantdotcom/sets/laura-michelle/s-kbGmi

With such whirlwind success, Laura remains clear on her mission of connection and inspiration. She says of her core message, "Music was my best friend growing up; it got me through some really tough times. If my music can help somebody—if they laugh about it or get a better perspective about whatever is going on, or if they relate to a song in a certain way that helps them get through something; if it can help somebody in some way, that's what I want—that makes me happy."

Laura Michelle is an advocate for bullying prevention and healthy self-esteem, and recently began partnering with PACER's National Bullying Prevention Center to spread that message. She helped promote the 10th Anniversary of PACER's National Bullying Prevention Month during October.

The "Chameleon" music video was directed and produced by A-list celebrity favorite Kurt J. Zendzian from Sarasota, FL. Zendzian also co-produced and directed the "Chuck Norris" music video. He is the producer of the nationally televised XFINITY Sessions which have featured David Duchovny, AWOLNATION, The Tenors, Nick Lachey, and Laura Michelle, to name a few.

Co-writer of the song "Chameleon", Jim McGorman, is a singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist who plays piano, guitar, bass, and drums. He has performed, written songs with, and/or collaborated with Avril Lavigne, Shakira, Cher, and Miley Cyrus, among many others, and has appeared on Good Morning America, Live with Kelly, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Dancing With The Stars, Saturday Night Live, The Late Show, The Tonight Show, The View, and many other national and international television shows.

Choreography for the "Chameleon" video was by Tallie Medel, an actor, comedian, and dancer based in New York City. Her work has earned positive reviews in ARTFORUM, Indiewire, Variety, the Village Voice, and the Chicago Sun-Times and awards from the Sarasota Film Festival, the Sidewalk Film Festival, and NoBudge. She has appeared on Inside Amy Schumer and Broad City.
