Charleston, SC (Top40 Charts/ Great Scott P.R.oductions) Possessing the poise and soulful grace of a veteran crooner when in front of a microphone, it is hard to believe the prodigious singer-songwriter Karoline is only 11. The innately gifted storyteller released her debut album, "Stirring Rainbows," today, which includes contributions by Grammy winning musicians, engineers and mixers. The Charleston, SC native co-wrote three songs for the collection with producer-guitarist Joe Taylor, a Grammy nominee who inked the artist to his Moonwatcher Music record label.

Over 23,000 Facebook fans have been eagerly awaiting "Stirring Rainbows," which will be celebrated with Karoline's New York City premiere Wednesday night (March 14) at The Living Room at an all-ages concert. Last week, Karoline was in Los Angeles to lense the music video for her first single, "Big World," with director-choreographer Matt Steffanina (Chris Brown, Snoop Dogg, LMFAO). To help whet the appetite for the track at radio, Karoline shot an "unplugged" version of the single that is already receiving airplay in New York City, Michigan, Ohio, Maine, New Mexico, Kansas and West Virginia. The clip is posted on her website (www.karolinemusic.com) and YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iNWXfleuHy8).

The title track opens "Stirring Rainbows" with a danceable mix of ambition and whimsy. One of three contributions by acclaimed songwriter Jeff Franzel (Taylor Swift, *NSYNC, Clay Aiken), "Modern Girl" is an empowering gallop to which Taylor adds jagged guitar shards. Penned by Taylor, the rollicking "Big World" strums a message of positive affirmation. Karoline, who had endured cyber-bullying, chose to cover the Go-Go's classic "Our Lips Are Sealed" as an anti-bullying rally cry. Another Franzel tune, "Six Minutes" relates to moving on and leaving friends behind, something to which the now homeschooled artist can relate. "He's Just A Boy" was something Karoline uttered in the studio, which caught Taylor's ear and inspired the anthem-like song urging perspective in the face of a romantic crush. Karoline co-wrote "Karma's On The Devil's Playground," which advocates good behavior or face the consequences of karma, another track ignited by Taylor's fiery fretwork. "You're Too Late" serves a taste of rockabilly with a dose of rejection. A confident Karoline belted out her version of "Black Velvet" like a seasoned pro. The modern rocker "Happy" closes the disc, the first of what Karoline hopes will be part of a life-long career as a recording artist.

Few artists are surrounded by such an accomplished cast of musicians as Karoline was when recording "Stirring Rainbows," but the veterans assembled because they believe in the quality, depth and potential of the promising singer-songwriter. Lending their talents were drummers Tony "Thunder" Smith (Jeff Beck, Santana, Lou Reed) and Bryan Compton (The Wicked Felinas), and bassists Jim Blakeslee (Killer Whales) and Sean O'Bryan Smith (Keith Urban, Kenny Rogers, Lady Antebellum). Three-time Grammy winner Steve Churchyard (Katy Perry, The Pretenders, Avril Lavigne) mixed the album with additional mixing and mastering completed by three-time Grammy winner Steve Rosenthal (The Rolling Stones, Sam Cooke, Natalie Merchant).

Karoline's most ardent Facebook followers are being engaged to help "Bring Karoline to Your Town!" The contest aiming to showcase Karoline in concert at venues including malls, schools and small theatres across the country will reward fans with tickets, backstage passes, and opportunities to hang out with the artist.
