New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Today multiplatinum Icelandic quintet OF MONSTERS AND MEN release a new song "Wild Roses" off their upcoming full-length album FEVER DREAM out July 26th via Republic Records/Universal Music.
On "Wild Roses" co-vocalist Nanna Hilmarsdóttir: "We are excited to share with you Wild Roses from our upcoming album FEVER DREAM. The song shows an introverted side to the album and is influenced by a bit of dance music and Joseph Campbell's "The power of myth and what it is like to lean into your sadness.'"

Adding to their accolades the band's current radio single "Alligator" has officially reached #1 on Billboard's Adult Alternative Songs Chart. Last week the band released the official music video for the track.
Speaking further on the single, Nanna recently spoke to NME and WWD in-depth about the record. She details its themes of empowerment and the growth the band has had over the past few years as they continue to create music that inspires.

"Alligator" continues to climb as it has reached Top 5 Alternative radio, exceeding nearly 11 million streams online and earned acclaim from Billboard, Line of Best Fit and more. The group recently performed it for the first time on late night TV, gracing the stage on NBC's The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

This fall, the band return to the States on their North American headline run, FEVER DREAM TOUR. It kicks off September 4 in Washington, D.C., rolls through arenas and theaters in major markets coast to coast, and concludes in Vancouver, BC at UBC Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre September 28. OF MONSTERS AND MEN went from the talk of Iceland to the top of the global conversation on their 2011 debut, My Head Is An Animal. Not only did the record go platinum, but it also produced an international smash in the form of "Little Talks." The breakthrough single earned a quintuple-platinum certification from the RIAA, made history as "the first song by an Icelandic band to cross 1 billion streams on Spotify," and landed the band a performance on Saturday Night Live. The group appeared on official soundtracks for franchises such asThe Hunger Games, The Walking Dead, and Beat Bugs, to name a few. In addition to performing at festivals such as Coachella, Lollapalooza, Firefly, and beyond, they supported Florence + the Machine on a high-profile arena tour. In the midst of this rapid rise, 2015's Beneath The Skin bowed in the Top 3 of the Billboard Top 200 and the band starred in an episode of HBO's Game of Thrones in the same year.
