Ringo Starr Virtual Reality Experience And Intergalactic Birthday Bash Comes To Ceek VR
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) CEEK Virtual Reality is excited to announce starting today you can exclusively see RINGO'S BIG BIRTHDAY SHOW on www.ceek.com and on the Ceek Virtual Reality App. The broadcast included never before seen performances and birthday wishes from Starr's musical and personal family. It was an intergalactic and worldwide celebration, starting with birthday wishes tweeted from Mars and the International Space Station and concluding with the record-breaking virtual birthday party broadcast.

As part of the festivities the famed Beatles drummer also sat down behind his drum kit with CEEK for a one of a kind exclusive virtual reality interview. The intimate chat was filmed in Ringo's home recording studio, giving fans a rare opportunity to step into Ringo's Drum room. During the Ringo Starr VR experience he discusses everything from the Beatles 1964 show banning segregation to his charities including The David Lynch Foundation, MusiCares, WaterAid, and Black Lives Matter.

Ringo said, "I have always supported Black Lives Matter, and it does, I mean it absolutely does matter. I am for peace and love.... (and) most of my musical heroes from way back are African Americans including Sister Rosetta Tharpe - I even saw her at the Cavern when l was about 18, Ray (Charles) to Stevie Wonder and of course Mr. Rock Roll - Little Richard."

Additionally, in the exclusive Q&A, Starr discusses his birthday wish to create a wave of Peace and Love which, as previously mentioned, actually started in space this year. Starr admitted to being wonderfully surprised at the space tweets including this message from Space Commander Chris Cassidy: "That was incredible when l got that message from outer space. It blew me away. When I started this peace and loving in 2008 at noon on my birthday, and you know last year we were in 27 countries, and this year we're still in 27 countries and now we are in outer Space...so if any of the Martians are listening, 'peace and love!'"

The 360VR experience will be exclusively available on the CEEK platform, which is available for download on iOS, Android, Facebook Oculus, HTC, etc., and can also be viewed through CEEK's mobile Virtual Reality headset. Anyone without a VR headset can also easily access CEEK's content on desktops, laptops, and tablets via www.ceek.com

Mary Spio says of the experience "It was a real delight and honor to create the Ringo Starr Virtual Reality experience. It's a rare experience for fans to experience the inspirational icon in a completely new way. Ringo Starr has been an advocate of peace and love since the beginning and he continues to demonstrate it through the amazing charities he supports. Ringo shares very personal stories, his fun perspective and insight in the interview

In addition to the interview, viewers will also be treated to RINGO'S BIG BIRTHDAY SHOW, a broadcast event that premiered on his 80th birthday and featured unseen concert and unique performances by Starr, Paul McCartney, Joe Walsh, Ben Harper and Dave Grohl, Sheryl Crow, Gary Clark Jr and Sheila E. The event was inspired by Starr's usual Peace and Love event, which normally takes place with fans outside. However, the pandemic prevented any public gatherings and so Ringo took the party online and decided to make it a benefit for four charities: Black Lives Matter Global Network, the David Lynch Foundation, MusiCares and WaterAid. On July 21, an exclusive, for one week only stream in virtual reality will be broadcast on the CEEK VR app and on www.ceek.com.
